I wanted to let everyone know that today at Muscle Beach Joe Weider will be inducted into the bodybuilding hall of fame along with Rachel Mclish. Its a free show to watch and nothing quite compares to the freakshow that is Venice!

Since the Governor will be there, its safe to say that there will also be media coverage and it could be a good place to be seen.

What a wonderful day! Its not often that you get to meet an icon of the sport but rarer still is the chance to be photographed with the first icon!

I thought Rachel was to be inducted at the 2006 Arnold Classic or Olympia?

Just goes to show more disrespect to the ladies.

How can they not honor the greatest competitor ever better than that. :mad:

Rachel was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame at the Arnold I believe. On labor day she was inducted into the Muscle Beach Hall of Fame where a lot of famous BB's got thier start. No disrepect this time, actually more than usual! Thanks for your concern, though.

That is a really nice pic. Rachel McLish, Ms. Olympia 1980 over Auby Paulick, and then again in 1982. I thought it was something really cool back then, and look at the growth in women's bodybuilding. Totally unbelievable.
