Hey Tre',

Yes, I have met Susanne Bock at the Fibo in Germany. She is competing in Figure now...no more BB.

That's why genex and james should do an extra effort to get THE BEST FBB before they turn into figure or retire.

From my point of view the more exposition/coverage a fbb gets the more she wants to pursue a career in BB. More recognition, more money, more satisfaction. The magic circule.

Keep working hard guys!! and Many thanks for your big efforts

Mmm, it doesn't really work that way, I'm afraid. Malissa Robles was one of the most popular female bodybuilders in the country, yet is going to figure. Karina Nascimento was also immensely popular as a bodybuilder. There are several others, but the majority of those who do switch divisions are going from bodybuilding or fitness into figure - and not the other way around - because figure is easier on their bodies.

Bodybuilding will always be my first love, but you can't really blame these women for making the switch down to figure.

I had to smile when I saw the words "career in BB". :D

I kinda look at BB like beauty pageants. The money is not in the pageant, but in using it for her resume and portfolio. The career is NOT in beauty pageants, but in modeling....even if the pageant pays money. Being a beauty contestant or FBB, the money is not in the actual activity, but in what that publicity, etc. can do for you. fbb's who want to make money need to look at the bigger picture, and not get so focused on contests.

The one thing these girls seem to not realize is that there are a million figure girls, thus making it even harder to be recognized, and I have not seen one past bber do well yet, including Kim C. You really have to do it for the love of competing.(also you end up spending more, the cost of the suits is horrendous!!).
One main beef I have is the cross-over. This should not be allowed. It's a slap in the face to the amateurs in their respective catagory to see a pro be able to go from one to the other. But I guess it's been done in other pro sports(Bo Jackson going from football to baseball, didn't Jordon try baseball??.
