I just sent my webmaster very amateur pictures that I took of myself first thing this morning and I just did a little farewell video clip with my digital to show off these guns before I head to the airport. I'll be the tiniest little thing on that stage, but hopefully I can get these biceps to really POP when I'm up there.

Heavy compound work is basically big, free weight exercises like squats, barbell hack squats, pulling harness squats (an exercise I made up with my truck pulling harness), deadlifts (one of my favourite exercises for total body size and strength). Upper body compounds include pressing, rowing, pushing and pulling exercises.
Basically, a compound exercise is one that involves more than one muscle group and joint movement.
The opposite of compound is isolation exercises like leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises etc. These are single muscle group, single joint exercises.
I personally get very little benefit from isolation exercises primarily because my focus is purely on size and strength. I am on a mission to get over 200 lbs lean bodyweight (hopefully even 220 lbs) :D
