I've never posted a thread here before but I thought that some, both fan and competitor, would enjoy this:

I don't know if you intended or not, but it kinda looks like she's got that look of relief/contentment on her face that most fbb's seem to have once they finally step on stage for a competition.
Nice work. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much Remdog. That was not my intention but I'm glad you see something nice in the work. :)

Jon, those are really good! You should do Christmas cards of the first three on your gallery page! I'd buy :)

I'm quoting you there Ann! LOL But thank you for the kind words. I've tried for years to get money for my work. You'd think that the bodybuilding magazines would hire an artist like myself but no. :( They HIRE artists sometimes or freelance their work but I cannot get my foot in the door. :(

Hey there's something I have been trying to understand for a long time now.
And wondered if anyone here could explain it.
And that's WHY is it that some people fasinated by seeing an average lady posing next to a bodybuilder?
Like on another thread I saw these shots featuring Heather Lee when she was a bodybuilder, and just can't figure out what's so amazing about having her next to a smaller model who actually has some good muscle on her as well for someone who is not a bodybuilder.
Just like the title of this thread says, I for one think that Size Doesn't Matter.
I believe bodybuilders should be appreciated for putting in the work and showing so much determination
and committment that it indeed takes to make their physique into a maganificant form of living art.
And not be praise just because they become bigger than the average person.:fitz:

In bodybuilding, size and what you look like IS everything. Bear in mind this also means fitness and figure where if you're TOO big and muscular they mark you down. But to earn a pro card for example in bodybuilding you must be BIG both the men and the women.
Of all the professions in the world, this rivals modeling (like Tyra Banks kind of modeling) as the most vain and the most self-centered.
In a perfect world people would be praised for improving themselves. If one loses weight, gets in shape, make themselves look and feel better even if it's by gaining muscle then God bless them.
Who the hell cares who is bigger than whom.

Hey Jon!
Yeah man . . I definately agree with the "who the hell cares who is bigger than whom" statement. :)
Plus your right, that unfortunately this in not a perfect world.
Hell . . its barely even a civil world for that matter.
But it just shows that people in the BB industry do not have a clue of what BB really means.
Its not about size, its about maximizing the human body to its ultimate form of development.
And that primarily means bring out lots of definition.
Because bodybuilders can be big both in the offseason and for competition.
But its when you see the detail of each muscle is what makes their physique special.
And the fact that too many people over-exaggerate the importance of size - is just very frustrating.:banghead:

and it is more frustrating to hear like: the size you need to win
iris kyle is defined , she is seperated , she is perfect....BUT she is not BIG
