Candy Canary is going to be a new mom!

Well, I just finished my long and lengthy paperwork, fingerprints, FBI check, OSBI check, etc…for our adoption of three siblings from Columbia! We have been working with Catholic Charities and Children’s Hope International for over one year now.

We are told it could take up to another 12 months…but we have been approved! I am so excited.

I had recently been taking private Spanish classes, so I can communicate with our new kiddos…but had to drop my tutor because of my last trip to Asia.

However, now that I am home and plan on staying home (after my trip to Israel in January)… I plan to start my tutoring up again.

I am so excited and I feel…well, simply put, “Blessed!”

I am the mom of two of my own kids, step-mom to three of Rick's kids, and now going to be mom of three beautiful adopted children!!!

You know, bringing joy to others is priority number one...I enjoy being a vessel of the Lord...

And for me, it is more of a blessing to be able to help than for those I am helping. I truly am so excited about my life. Nothing about, would I change! The Lord has opened so many doors for me. I am truly grateful.
