I have a serious question for all the Ftvideo females…well I think it is serious considering that I am always in the market for my lady friend; the question is about lingerie. To my understanding most females enjoy and appreciate an excellent set of bras and panties as well as other styles of lingerie…no matter by what brand (correct me if I am wrong on that). Plus I know that look, quality, and feel are important as well.
This weekend I was in my town mall (Columbia, MD) shopping for lingerie for my lady friend…and not that I am a materialistic type of guy, but I enjoy seeing her in nice high-end lingerie; Arianne, Cosa Bella, Honey Dew, and sometimes La Perla (depending on the style). While in the mall I could not found a lingerie boutique save VS (which I hate, and she does too) to shop in; so I had to go out of town.
My question is this: are women not as concerned about the lingerie they wear under their clothes…for the simple fact that it is under and no one really sees it? And do a lot of women enjoy buying high-end lingerie (high-end, of course referring to (yes) price, design, quality, look, and feel)? Or is VS the standard for most if not all women?
Thanks
Maxt

Mad Genius, you can get the classier stuff just across the Potomac River in Virginia at Tyson's 2: The Galleria at one of those Boutiques or at Nieman Marcus which is on par with what you'd find in Beverly Hills. Columbia Mall is O.K., I used to live in Gaithersburg, Maryland, but you'll find the higher end at Tyson's 2: The Galleria or at least Pentagon City?

I refuse to spend high end prices for a small piece of cloth...VS works perfecr for me...as do no-name brands from kohl's, target, etc...

It's interesting how for everyday use, under garments for men and women are not that much of an issue. But if they are on display, whether in front of a "special someone" or crowd of people (web cam..no point of reference)...lingerie and men's underwear become a big deal. I am 100% male, but I have noticed guys changing in the men's gym room with "holy" or worn underwears...and they are taking off a nice suit or outfit. Can the same be said for females?
I do agree that one can find nice lingerie at different scales of pricing...but will they hold up in look, feel, and quality after a number of washes?
And I am sure most female would agree in seeing a nice physique guy in Calvin Klein instead of Fruit-of-the-Loom (even though FOTL has stepped up their game in underwear).

Most girls I know and have dated like victoria' s secret. Just curious what does she not like about it? Does she also dislike Frederick's of Hollywood?

She is French...so I guess that says it all...lol. But also she says that VS lacks style, feel, and class...it's like they are mass produced for any and everyone...no individuality. And I can understand what she means by that.

If you don't mind my asking...you wear commandos, boy shorts, and sports bra under your clothes?
But you pose an interesting thought about if lingerie is for women to wear or more for men to see women wear? And can the same be said for men?

What's under my clothes is what looks good under my clothes. If it's overly lacy and adds bulk I won't wear it just for the mental note that I have something very sexy under this business suit. When my underware cost as much as my blouse then the stuff is owning me and my credit card even more.
I do pay attention to what he sees when the time is right.
I'll shop Victorias Secret and save the cost of shopping high end for other things like a bottle of wine and a sexy boxer of thong for him.
