Hey family and friends.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my upcoming trip to Israel. I spoke with Pastor Tosh this morning. He is the pastor of the chruch I will be working with in Israel. As we spoke he gave a tremendous insight on the needs of Christ's church in Israel. He says, "the church is broke" He says, his church has so many needs he did not know where to begin. (But unlike the US, the local government does not aide them.) He said, I should come to his church to see the need first hand and then see where the Lord leads me to help. I offered to bring him or his family (he has 4 kids) anything from the States. He declined. He placed Gods church above his own needs!

His church does a lot of street evangelism. He says Israel has a lot of drug addicts and homeless.

Shocking for me because I guess I just thought that did not occur in the Lords Holy Land. But regardless, of my own blind eye...there is a huge need in Israel.

I know, some of you are sick of me always emailing you , to please help my and the Lords' cause but I know we are all blessed to be able to help those in need.

I am not called to carry this burden alone. I know, most if not all of you ,give your tithes to church however, we all are called to help those less fortunate...and if giving up eating out or going to the movies is what it takes to make the sacrifice..well, in my opinion....it is worth it.

I am not trying to scold anyone here...you all know my heart. And my passion runs deep with the children of God and those less fortunate. I am just trying to open every ones eyes to the major need we have going on in our world. I am very saddened to hear in the of the land of plenty, Christ church is struggling and unable to effectively assist those in need. In the US, we have so many churches who waste money on stupid stuff...bigger buildings, ridiculous pastors salaries, etc. And the heart of Gods people are in need. Somewhere along the way, we all have forgotten about Christ first love....His people.

I am very humble this morning...I desperately want to help this pastor and his congregation. I am personally doing everything I can...however, one person in unable to truly make an impact but together we can make a difference. You know, I personally see these missionaries struggle to stay motivated because the church has often forgot about them. They are left alone and desperate for prayer partners and more importantly monetary supporters.

I know asking for money is a sensitive subject..however, God created money and He blessed us all to be able to share that God given money with others. God does not need our money but His workers do....may we remember these missionaries who struggle day in and day out..not only to make ends meet but to keep the Lords vision alive.

And my last thought, in our busy personal lives we often forget about those who have given up their homes and extended families to move abroad and serve our Lord. I realize this in a very personal way. I know, because I too am called to the missions field. I am not sure when the Lord will pluck me out of the US but it will be in the near future. I just spoke to Rick about this last night. I told him my own calling is growing everyday. My pull to Africa is very strong. I will go when the Lord tells me to go, but I believe He is preparing me now. And preparing my family.

Please pray about what the Lord will have you send. Please be obedient to His Word. Thousands of His Children, your brothers and sisters in Christ, need your help.

May our Beautiful Creator watch over you and place a new desire to help those in need...regardless of the geographical area.

Thank you, pc
