Camcorder Thread

I thought there was a thread similar to this earlier but I couldn't find it.
I am looking for your input or suggestions for a small semi affordable miniDV or Hard Drive Camcorder. I use a Sony PDX-10 which I love for my purpose but I need something smaller to use for things like the convention candids or as a simple second cam for B-Roll. Does anybody have any suggestions? Keep in mind that there is budget (for sure under $750.00 and preferably closer to 4 bills)

Sharon, you belong in front of the lens, not behind the viewfinder. Assign someone in your mantourage to record the event for you.

You can never go wrong with a Sony when it comes to camcorders.

At HDPhysiques we use Sony HD Cams exclusively. (3-chippers, of course)

I like Sony as well, my PDX10 is awesome but again something more unobtrusive is nice. I'll see what I come up with and we'll see you at the Arnold!
