Some of those winners I agree with bang on and others not so much. Who judges? And why did Elena Seiple win the most improved attitude award? Was her attitude bad before?:(

Sure....I'll give a few. And just so people don't get bent out of shape and all offended I think all these ladies are great......just because I have an opinion doesn't mean I'm putting their features down.
Amy Thompson - best lower body -fitness/figure....no
Ali Huston- best figure competitor- meh so so
Kris Murrell - most improved-yes
Iris Kyle- best overall pro- big yes
Heather Pollicy- best lower body-yes
Casey Daughtery- rising stars- meh
Annie Riviccieo- lifetime achievement award-yes
Lisa Bickels-crossover-yes
Elaina Seiple-most improved attitude- WTF? did I miss something?
Melissa Froio- best poser-no
Sarah Dunlap- most photogenic-no
Nursel Gurler- best comeback-big yes
Those are just a few of my opinions- congrat to all.....you ladies all look fantastic!!! Go treat yourself to some chocolate and pizza....I know you want to!!
I might have disagreed with some of the choices, but it would most likely be just because I haven't seen much of that particular lady around.

Great choices, guys. And a big thumbs-up for giving the competitors that extra bit of recognition.
Maybe someday I'll get off my patootie and we'll see the FemFlexy Awards. :D

James and Gene, thanks for giving us another excuse to look at those great photos again.
The list of awards also highlights one major trend from last year, namely the number of great ladies who switched back to bodybuilding after dabbling in figure or fitness. After years of seeing things go the other way, it is nice to see the tide turn and get a positive response from judges, fans, and photographers.

For those of us who know elena....understand the award.....most improved attitude...however it should be called........most inner growth or most spiritually evolved something along those lines.....I have known and always loved elena and i am so proud of her for the woman she is becoming....she went through personal times/challanges which at the time effected the ones she loved and now she took those times as an opportunity to find her strength from within and make everything into a positive! I truly see her inner spirit shing through...and want to say let it shine..life is never about being selfish ...it is about what you can offer....all of us who know you are so proud of you! with that said.....i am thrilled to get the best overall amateur award...but i want to share that with elena...and soo many other girls...we together represent a special group of beautiful unqiue woman....and lets do it from the inside out! with love and light , xoxox debbie

Okay maybe I'm kinda (try totally) predicable, but where is Kristy Hawkins in the Awards. I'm very glad that some of my favs including (but not limited too) Elena Seiple, Candy Canary, and Sarah Dunlap made the list, but where is Kristy?
I suggest a new catagory for her: Most likely to Bring MANY more fans to FBB.
(I'm just kidding about the new cat.)
I've been waiting for you to say exactly this. You're obsessed with Kristy buddy.

Thanks for all the feedback. We know that there are ommissions and categories we didn't cover, but the awards are an evolutionary thing that we started a few years ago and if it causes there to be more discussion we are happy for that. It's just a fun way for us to wrap up each year and we like to see what people think.
Thanks for everyone's thoughts on them!

Also had Kristy in there... arms, back and glutes---respect.
Did not have debbie on my list, but dont get me wrong--super body (and also seems insightful about Elaine). Sholud be pro sometime def.!
About Iris- beat pro on stage right now and hard working :). Respect. Fav physique is Yaxeni in condtion though (did not peak this year). So beautiful.. (also when soft).

Most of the picks I agree with, however some of the picks are marginal at best. Others amount to nothing more than the winner of "most congenial" in their nominated category.
