Nancy just moved to Vegas so she will be in her new back yard!! I just talked to her, healing an arm injury but she will be ready!! Lets do some duo pics after the show!!!

LOL Actually, I'm going to be moving to Philly this summer as I just got married, I'm waiting for my son to graduate, and then the big move!!. I'll probably do something like the Masters Nationals next yr., enough of me. You go girl, stay focused, you are always soooo busy, I love to read your journal and always blow air for you!! :eek: The lthvy class is killer!!!, my friend Debbie Bramwell will be doing it again. Hans, that was 2000 Nationals. Here is a pic from the Team U last yr, believe it or not I downsized and was only 128 at that show, tried NA@125 and did me no better in placings. I'm back up to 155. Getting back into good training and will make a comeback next yr as a lthvy. where I should be.

Thanks for checking out my site and following my journal. I love going to other people's sites and reading about them when they show the REAL side of their life, not just the bodybuilding side. Thats what I try to show everyone, that there is more to life than JUST bodybuilding. I used to go to Heather Policky's site and read her journal updates and they always amazed me because she spoke from the heart and I really respect that. You really get to know WHO these people are and not just about how much they bench, ya know? I love that stuff.....

Congrats on getting married!!! woohoooo! I'm excited to meet you (and the new husband too!) As I said in the other thread, I'll be at the NY Pro, so if you see me, grab me and I'll do the same thing like-wise. I'm pretty excited to go there. It will for sure be an entertaining weekend. I'll be staying with Colette helping her as much as possible, because knowing her she'll be going a million miles an hour and will definitely need to get a kick in the ass to RELAX and chill out for once!!! haha. Man, its going to be an awesome time!

As far as the USA... I didn't know Lisa Bickels was doing it again? Very very cool! I read somewhere that she was getting out of bbing and now into figure?? Man, I was hoping that WASN'T true. This is great. Christine Moore was a MW when I competed with her at the Jr's in 2003, but that was when the cut-off was still 132... big difference from having to drop to 125 w/ the new rules. I like that move for her. I thinks she'll do very well there. Chris Sabo will be competing who will definitely come in dialed and I know she's put on a lot of size this offseason. She's a super hard worker.

I love Debbie Bramwell. She will be shredded as usual... Also we have my girl, Isabelle Turell, who SAYS she'll be a LHW. Her and I actually have a bet going about this... lol I say no way in HELL will she be a LHW and she says she definitely will be. lol. I will be standing in back of her as she weigh's in with my camera to prove when I am right! hahahahaha. You know I love ya girl! Either way, whatever class she falls into this year she'll be looking good, no distractions so she can concentrate on kicking some ass at this show. But.... I'm still looking to win my bet! hahahahahahaha :p

Michelle, I'm so glad to see you getting back to your standard, big girl size! I saw your pics from the Team Univ and I know it must have been hard prepping for that show. I give you all credit for doing it... You don't look 128 there. You have a lot of density/muscle maturity which gives you a huge thickness that we all love!!!

Just curious why does it seem that every fbb is shooting to be a LHW? Amanda, back when you first started the online journal you were all gung ho about competing as a HW, what happened? :) Personally i think you would make a great HW just like Gina after all you 2 are about the same height right? Scott, The lthvy is a good weight cuttoff@ 140. Anybody under 5'4'' actually will do the best here. Actually we are striving for it to go up to 145. Almost all of the good heavys are 5'5' and up. I'm 5'31/2 and even with all my muscle maturity I still would need much more as a heavy and then the symmetry gets sacraficed. This is me at 135 in the past, I ended up as a heavy cause in 2000 it was still 132. :mad:

This year's USA has all the hype of last year's Nationals...glad I don't have that stress on me all over again! I will definitely be there to lend support to my buddies competing. Amanda Dunbar will be the cause of me losing my voice for sure!

Michelle-you have always looked great on stage...your conditioning was spot on...very hard thing to do consistently.

Oh, and I am definitely a 16 week dieter. I cannot stay THAT lean year round to diet any less. Plus I need extra time just in case. This year I actually started at about 20 weeks out just to be sure. With so much going on with school/work, I want to make sure I am ready. No interruptions, so I'll schedule accordingly. :)

Scary enough about the cardio thing. I do so much it is insane. I'm trying to mentally make cardio and diet part of my daily regimen like training is so I dont hate it so much, lol but its defnitely a slow process. It is definitely a lot of retraining your mind... especially to not ENJOY your food so much and just thik about FOOD IS FUEL. lol.

It'll be here before we know it though. Can't wait to finally meet you! :)

I like that idea! I wish we could vote on the decisions before they're made. Such is life. In any case, the new light heavy weight class is a welcomed decision because a lot of competitors will find it as there niche. Great idea by the way...take care.

I have not yet heard any of this, but I will definately ask the chairman about it. It will prob come up at the end of year meeting. I definately think expanding the lightweights is good....and the weights you listed is pretty decent for spans. YAY I WOULD BE A MIDDLE AGAIN...LOL

As the vice chariman for NJ we are trying to get the excitement back into the sport. We are holding a seminar APRIL 23 in NJ for all competitors. We will be discussing how to properly prepare yourself for stage! Coloring, suits, POSING etc. I have great sponsors for this event:

yes, i'll be doing the junior nat's and the usa. there are a lot of beautiful athletes and some serious competition at these shows.....i'm just out to do my best and hopefully at least get noticed next to these gals! :) it's an honor to be standing next to the same girls on stage that i've admired for some time....even if i get my butt handed to me, lol! ;)

Heather P. could never come down to a LHW. She's been a heavy since the beginning. That girl is PHENOMENAL and her muscle base is a HW, forget what she's developed into. I can't wait to share the same stage with her. She has such an amazing body, it is very motivating to me. I'm so glad to see her coming back to the stage after much of a layoff. :)

Thanks!! :) Actually I'm not sure, all I know is at my first semi-nat'l show standing next to her I was quite nervous that I'd look TEENY TINY... lol when you see heather in person you are drawn to how big her legs are. Definitely pretty impressive. Don't know her measurements, its too bad her site is down... i'm sure she had it up there at one point.

Melissa... your legs are quite big yourself... get those babies dialed in 100% and man, not many people will compare to your legs. Great genetics you have! :)

I really hope she does the USA, she has such a great package and is so deserving of a pro card. Man... sometimes I hate knowing I'lll be IN the show because I wont be able to relax and enjoy all the amazing talent that will be on stage this year!!!

Here (http://www.ftvideo.com/genex/profiles03/Heather.htm) is the profile I did of Heather a couple of years ago. She told me at that time that her legs measured 26 1/2 inches in the off-season. If you scroll down to the bottom, I also included some of her leg training tips as well.

Michelle - Dieting is going ok... not loving it but definitely looking better. Vascularity is coming in, chest is getting lean. Seeing the transformation finally. I started my prep at 20 weeks out at 173... now 13 weeks out I'm at 158. So I'm coming down. I should weigh in shredded at 135-137.

I'm guessing my plan is to leave Ft. Myers before the show at 140-142, then dry out to about 135. Seems like a lot of weight to lose but with the amount of cardio I'm doing, it should come off pretty fast. I'm definitely ready to be lean again! :)

Gina, That's me all the way too!! I love just regular take a pic of me and my bud or family or client shots!!! Even around my home town here in Monterey Peninsula and it's anice day, I go out with my sweatshirt on,( of course it comes off if I get too darn hot) but I like the( I'm the regular kinda gal) pics also!!!

From the pics I have seen of few girls Amanda, Isabelle, and now Elena it looks like it will be a hard show to judge. That is assuming they can keep it up for another 9 weeks. So no Mac Donalds cravings 4 weeks out to blow the diet. Keep up the good hard work.

Michelle - Robin isn't doing the USA... she's actually the one DOING my diet. That is who I'm working with. Unless she decides to enter last minute, she isnt doing it. I wish she would though! :) She'd be a heavyweight this time around (if she did) and a DAMN GOOD ONE at that. She needs to get her pro card this year. Robin is awesome!

No need to "work the competition" rich.... They are prepping just as hard as I am.... the USA will be a great show. I can't wait to stand next to Elena, what an awesome moment that will be for me, no matter the end result. It's been a long journey and Elena has been there with me thru most of it, so its a bit of full circle which means a lot. I can't wait. I get more excited everyday! I wish everyone luck!! I can't wait to see you all.

Hello, I am from Europe so I definately won't be doing the USA... :) Still I wanted to express my support to all the terrific woman who are doing so and who are putting all their heart and soul into doing so!! There are frequent discussions back here in Europe about FBB being on the downhill or even dying - well, judging from this forum, from the quantity AND quality of the woman involved it certainly seems to be the total opposite!! And thanks God it is this way!! Otherwise we would miss all the terrific people on this forum!! Just wanted to let you know that even here in Europe this forum is read and there are people who are following you and are cheering you on!! Keep going, pumping and flexing, you are all amazing woman!! I really don't want to single out anyone in particular, but very personal have to admit that AMANDA DUNBAR is definately my all time fav, my person woman 2005!! As I said, this is in no way meant to not respect other ladies - Ms SEIPLE, BUFFDOLL; BEENAROUND and many more - who post on this forum, but I really feel the butterflies in my stomach whenever I see pics of Miss DUNBAR... :) Guess you know what I mean... With so much going on day to day its hard to focus on the show at all... just surviving right now for the next 2.5 weeks (if you read my journal, you know the hell schedule I have right now).... so I cant thank you enough for the support it means so much.
