View Full Version : Murder-For-Hire to Kill Wife Example of Male Fear Of Strong Women

A long title, but I could not think of a short way to put it. I saw this on CNN Headline news, and wondered what could go through the mind of a man to hire a hit person to kill his wife.

Then I listened to Dr. Shelley Ferrill, the wife of John Sheroke, who hired the hitperson, tell him off in court. Their success was largely from her practice in Houston. He was having an affair with another woman and stood to collect $1 million from what would have been a "carjacking."

Sick.

It seems there are men who just can't stand strong, successful women, and even are married to them yet seem to have some seething contempt.

I wonder if this weird feeling translates to those men who make stupid comments about women bodybuilders? It seems only right to ask this question.

Oh,..heres the story:

I thought this was going to be about a man fearing for his life due to his wifes physical strength. Maybe she was a husband beater?
It seems he was just insecure and jealous, what a waste of life. At least the story did not end on a sad note. Sure he is going to jail, but he surely does not deserve to be around people.

Yeah, it's not exactly the classic story of that. But I'm just wondering if the feeling he has comes from the same "place" as those who hold FBB's in contempt.

She's a woman of slight build, so the matter of being "stronger" physically does not apply, but there's a fear of her business success. He reportedly wanted to take the Rolex off her if she had passed on. Wild.

How the hell does this story even relate to men who don't like women bodybuilders? There are men that don't like blondes, thin girls, girls with freckles, girls with blue eyes, etc. And guess what.....men will make stupid comments about all these things. But you think that "It seems only right to ask this question".......uh......yeah. :stupid:

I can't make logic of this point. IT seems you wrote it more with the objective of being nasty rather than thinking through my query. As a result, it comes out as a rant and nothing more.

You also claim it, and I guess me, are "stupid." Let's take up that, shall we? The definition of stupid is "the quality or condition of being stupid, or lacking intelligence, as opposed to being merely ignorant or uneducated and insensitivity to nuances in a person who is otherwise intelligent."

It's impossible to make a claim that I lack intelligence by the act of asking a question, which is how intelligence is demonstrated. Indeed, it is you, and not I, who show "insensitivity to nuances in a person who is otherwise intelligent."

...But given that you were just being recklessly nasty, the illogic of your argument escaped you.

Now back to the matter of interest: I simply am wondering if there's a connection between the two kinds of negative feelings. It's a reasonable question and has nothing to do with "what men like." The person that spurred me to write this tried to have his own wife killed.

Please think -- carefully -- before you type in the future.

Bwahahahahaha!!!!:woot: This is even funnier than your other post!!!! PLEASE stop trying to make yourself intelligent with the use of dictionary defintions and big words. You fool nobody.

Actually, people such as yourself on forums are non stop entertainment. How long did it take you to plan out your "oh so carefully worded post"? 45 mintues? One hour?

Believe it or not not everybody on public forums is going to agree with you, going to be nice to you, going to kiss your ass, etc. I suppose I could have worded it like this....

"Zennie dear.......I am having trouble seeing the correlation between this story and men who don't like women bodybuilders. Don't get me wrong....this is a fantastic story!!!!!:) But I'm a bit confused on what you are trying to say. I suppose I'm missing the point! I sure don't want to start anything controversial.....maybe give me some examples so I understand better!!!:o Thanks!!!! I hope I didn't offend you!!!

Great read!!!!!! Hugs and kisses always!!!!!!
