She's looking good. Especially in that first pic. Like I always said she's a good bodybuilder but as far as that third pic until she gets some more *quad width* as observed from the front, she's going to look out of proportion.

Do you mean more quad width like Collete Nelson, so that she could be proportionate like Collete? :1eek:

Chris, thanks for posting the picture of Jana. According to a certain member of this forum, who I will not name, if Jana works really hard she might aspire to have quads and a balanced physique like Colette:headscrat .

See a big problem is when people don't want to be objective and don't want to see fair criticism but only see what they want. In the picture Jan is turning her legs to hide exactly what I said that she's got a little bit of a problem with front quad width. That is a good thing to do when on stage and posing hide the weaknesses and exaggerate the strengths but proportions are going to count in the way the physique looks and the overall impression it makes when you judge symmetry. Now in the offseason you should be critical and try and address what doesn't quite look right. So Jana needs to balance her upper and lower body and work on quad width as viewed from the front not just try and turn her feet to show her quads at the best angle. Maybe go all the way down in squats and leg presses or change to different angles on leg extensions? Also another thing I noticed way back last year when she was competing is huge biceps but comparitively not huge triceps. That makes for an impression that someone does more bicep work than triceps and doesn't look good. Work on those proportions to be more successful lose the anger and quit taking it too personally because now is a time when a little fair criticism can be helpful.

You're the exact same way when you evaluate Colette Nelson, so stop lecturing on objectivity.

Chris that is not enough tricep in relation to the bicep. No sweep, no outer head and as I say small compered to the large bicep. Legs are still not big enough in comparison to the upper body. What principle you are kind of missing out on is symmetrical balanced proportions-still yet you measure the thighs and compare them to the waist. You measure tha arms and compare them to the calves. You want to get the waist smaller. You want to get the triceps bigger. The quads fuller and more evenly developed at their insertion at the knee. Now you've got something to think about. I've been fair. Balance and proportion are very important when it comes to mass. All things being equal bigger is better but that means bigger in balance and proportions.

"Legs not big enough for upper body.",,,,,,hmmmmm,,,it kind of reminds me of a certain bb'er that got a gift placing last year at the Europa. :D

I'd love to hear your honest opinion on my physique after this years USA's. I spent all winter working weak points. My bulked up pictures are on my website blog. I'm open to constructive criticism.

Chris

I wonder why is it . . you don't get back shots of Jana?

Is it a weakness to a point where she's ashame to show it?

Or is she just not good at showing it or what?

She barely even does side chest or triceps shots as well.

Its just all about the biceps with you and her.

You know its takes more than that to be a great bodybuilder right?
are you a member of ftvideo?? james did a long clip jana playing with her backmuscles !
the triceps pic is posted above

Well Chris . . Since I see that you mention my name a few times, its obvious that I struck a cord with you.

I do want to say however, thanks for having Jana do more poses, especially the ones that I mention.

Of course as always she looks fantastic . . :D

But I did happen to see another of your photo posts (http://www.ftppv.com/ftvideo/showpost.php?p=36645&postcount=91) and I just guessing here, and you can correct me if I am wrong.

But it seem like you trying to stick it to me a little bit with going overboard on those back shots.

Like I said I'm glad that you did them, but you didn't have to take it that far.

Wasn't like I was all of sudden gonna stop being a fan of Jana or go around saying bad things about her.
I just simply pointed out that she could more poses and not just front double biceps all the time.
I thought she had much more to offer and I know fans wanted to see more.

So just to bring this issue to a close, my advice is to not be overly sensitive next time.

Afterall, you and Jana choose to display all these photos, and therefore put yourself up for criticism,
and you have to take the negitive with the positive, can't have it one way or the other.

So lighten up a little bit man . . but again great job on the photos.:)

all ok , eddie ....you was right that i did have to less backshots on youtube.
we have thousands of clips , which will all be on her website ( coming in the next weeks).
on youtube , we only have samples....this is only for publicity...
and for publicity it is important to have the face on the clips ( which is difficult on backshoots :-) )
jana dont has anything to hide , but thank you to tell me that somebody can have the idea if we dont put backshoots also on youtube she has something to hide

liked her poses but i dont think those pictures do justice to how massive her body is. can u have post some of her next to other people or objects to show how massive and cut she really is. for example her back was bigger than the car window in one of them

Hey Chris!

I just wondered whether or not Jana was ok with you working with other athletes and models on photo & video shoots?

I've just been thinking that it would be cool if you ever decided to join up with the FTV team
and help them with their event coverage and video shoots.:)

we both love bodybuilding....we respect every atlethe ( wether american or europe )

if i made comments about judging i never disrespected any fbb....
