Hello,

I don't post much, but I figured I would give an update on the status of Christine Moore for those fans who are interested.

I have been training Christine for the past 5-6 years. Her most notable impact was obviously 04 where she took the middle's for the USA's and North Americans.

Unfortunately, shortly there after. Christine, being Cleveland Police Officer was involved in a very serious car accident, while responding to a code 1 "top priority" call. Her car was t-boned by a drunk driver, striking her side of the police cruiser, crushing her between her 270lb partner and the DUI car. She sustained several injuries, including a head injury, which left her blind in one eye for a week and dizzy, along with a shoulder injury among other things.

In 05, Christine suffered some unrelated health problems and personal family issues, which took there toll on her competatively.

She tried to rebound in 06, but due to the aforementioned car accident, the shoulder injury she sustained, which was a definate "training problem" developed into a more serious situation which now requires reconstructive surgery.

Because Christine has trained for most of her life and like most other bodybuilders, is in great shape, she has been able to stave off surgery, but now it is inevitable.

She is schedualing surgery shortly, (lots of red tape due to the nature of the injury being work related).

Her doctor is optomistic about her prognosis but nothing is for certain.

Lawyers, Lawsuits and Doctors willing, Christine is hoping that she will be able to resume training and is planning on re-qualifying and competing in the 08 nationals.

I am currently researching and working up Christine's rehab/training plan, to give her the best possible outcome. Not to make any predictions but, should her shoulder issue be resolved, I will be bringing a Christine Moore to the 08 Nationals that will bury the 04 version.

For Christines fans, ALL I NEED IS A HEALTHY CHRISTINE, mark my words.

As Christines trainer, I take full resposibility for how she has looked, both freaky and unfortunately "off", and have dedicated myself to bring the best Christine Moore that she can be, once she is healthy.

I would like to thank James Gene and all the other photographers, fans, web site guys and competitors that have supported Christine in the past. It has really meant a lot to her, and myself.

In the future, I will be posting photos and updates of Christines progress.

Personally, I am a big fan and supporter of Women's Bodybuilding and all the time and dedication the atheletes have.

I just felt it was time to let people know about Christine and what her future plans are.

Until the next thread, to all train safe and smart.

hey Dennis,

A big thanks for taking the time to let us know How Christine is doing. I am a huge fan of hers and wish her a speedy recovery. I look forward to seeing you and Christine at the shows in any capacity. Christine is one of the all-time greats, IMO.

You mentioned scheduling surgery shortly. I was thinking about Christine yesterday and sent an email wondering if she was making an appearance at the North Americans as a spectator?

Take care
James

Hey Dennis, it was Great seeing both you & Christine at the North Americans during the Labor Day Holiday in Cleveland and Christine looked Very Beautiful during the Finals.

Christine has told me what happened and I wish her a Speedy Recovery and I'm looking forward to seeing Christine back on stage in "Freaky Shredded Vascular Striated Ripped to the Bone" condition getting her Pro Card because her "Motor City" will be rooting for her Big Time because she's the Future of the Sport.

And to Christine: Major Love, Props & Respect to you always, My Hero. :)

I want to wish Christine luck and give her my kudos. I was and still am a big fan of hers too. I did enjoy seeing her make her comeback at the Nationals last year. Thanks for the information.
