Hey All,

I just finished write a blog post on Vanessa Hudgens (http://zennie2005.blogspot.com/2007/09/venessa-hudgens-vanessa-hudgens-whos.html) and Internet Marketing and I started thinking about Internet Marketing and FBB's -- again.

It seems that the World around us is changing. Vanessa's the latest in a long line of women to push their nude photos around for fun and profit. Kelly Ripa's now showing cut biceps on her show. The most popular shows on now are in some cases exclusively online.

But FBB's still seem to be in the background. It seems like the next logical extension is an online show featuring an FBB that's mainstream. My question is why hasn't this happened, yet? We've got a LOT of talented people -- Tre, Gene, TomNine, Melissa (websites are huge), etc. -- and of course a lot of excellent women bodybuilders and fitness models. It seems the stage is set -- or am I wrong?

Just curious...

No, you're not wrong at all. And -- as I scan your posts from time to time -- you just may be a bit advanced for some of the folks here. I mean people can chose to build their brains or their brawn, hehe.

But seriously, there's a lot less thought that goes into the matter of marketing for a mainstream audience for FBBs. So what happens is what you see.

Keep trying -- don't let the meathead's get ya! Someone out there's paying attention.

Hi. Ouch. I don't know about the meat... part but thanks. There's some FBB's out there who get it.

Normally, I ignore these "marketing to the mainstream" threads but for some reason Zennie threw my name out there as somebody who should take this idea and run with it. :wtf:

Some of the guys running sites came into this scene with ambitions of promoting femuscle stuff to a broad audience. James here, Steve from Awefilms, and Tre come to mind. The market shifted away from stories told on VHS tapes in the mail to downloaded posing clips, and now even more toward webcam. I don't think these guys have lost their dreams of reaching a wider audience, but they also have mortgages to pay and kids to feed.

What is the business paradigm for your online show? Do you think advertising will pay for even the simplest production? Or is its value as the next step in your marketing plan enough to justify it? What type of program are you thinking about?

Denise Masino is about as shrewd a businesswoman as we have, but her "Blood and Kisses" movie didn't get much attention from either the general population or the established schmoe market.

I am just a hobbyist with a day job. I have my own agenda for supporting muscular women, and my own vision about promoting them. I enjoy watching how the public responds to the ladies in the flesh and online. The general public will always be fascinated by a girl with a pretty face and big muscles, but I've learned not to confuse this with a mass appeal that will help anybody pay the bills.

I throw a lot of content on YouTube. People who make positive comments tend to be established fans. When "regular people" stumble across my page, the results usually are not pretty.

My wife called me in to see Kelly Ripa the other day. She was staring at her, in awe of those arms.

Baby girl is cut up, no doubt about it.

Hi,

Actually, I think what will work is a show about a person who just happens to be an FBB. I don't think it's necessary to have her doing anything unusual. I really believe that society is in the middle of a massive paradigm shift regarding what's considered beautiful. There are basics -- hair, skin, etc, but one look at Kelly Ripa tells me we're in the middle of a revolution.

Think Lonelygirl15 --- or even Kate on Sports..It's just that Kate got captured by Comcast for the Cal Sports Report, but still does show with SBS.
