Hi everyone ! My name is Liza Larence, and I made an attempt to introduce myself back in May prior to competing in the WNBF pro-American show in Austin. I tried unsuccessfully to upload pictures to this forum then, and now am preparing for the WNBF pro World show in NYC November 11-12. I will be back in Atlanta the next week for the NPC Nationals as I live here...and am looking forward to meeting GeneX and James then if they have time ! I have emailed GeneX some pics taken this week approximately 10 weeks out...and was hoping maybe he could post a couple for the members input :D. I am another athlete kind of "stuck" between the desire to compete as a natural bodybuilder in a ever changing scene now favoring fitness and figure in most current magazines and product endorsements...what to do, what to do !!!?? Any input would be appreciated...for now, I intend to stick with my first love....bodybuilding. I have been competing for 20 years. Check out my site at LizaLarence.com ;)

I appreciate the encouragement...and Gene, Thank you for posting those ...I have have to some more work around the pool :p I have my work cut out for me in November...will have to be sliced to ribbons to take Nancy Andrews and Karen Miller (reigning WNBF Champs) However ! I will be taking this upcoming weekend off to head up to Hico, W. VA to whitewater raft the "Beast of the East"...the Gauley River :eek: The first 2 out of a total of 5 level 5 rapids are guaranteed to increase sphincter tone, and one gets a hell of a back workout with 6 hrs / day hardcore paddling....so !! The diet will be on hold for a glorious 2 days....YEE- HA !!

I swam at Pillow rock...our whole raft flipped, and when I came up for air I was under the raft (gag)...I then spilled over the top of Volkswagon rock (plop !) and thankfully was thrown the rope-bag before I inhaled too much more river water :eek: It was a rush, as always Jim-Bob :D I especially enjoy the "Hawaii five-O" wave and the 15 foot drop at Sweets...in 2001, I came out of the raft at "Postage Due" and rode the "box"...cough, hack, cough !! :p

....is a shot glass of hot sake immersed quickly in a cold glass of beer, then chugged...warms the belly immediately if you can manage to get it down :p It is a specialty at "Rusans" in Atlanta. I myself prefer a shot of Jack Daniels followed by a cold import beer...(this all after REHYDRATING first post-contest !) I am sure we will all be celebrating with great gusto...5 weeks out from my show, and even my own ARM is starting to look appetizing... :eek:

Poor fella used to be a WCW wrestler til someone pulled out in front of his hog at bike week in Daytona...exploded his leg..cant see in pic but he was still in a leg brace 2 years later...most of my patients don't get better, unfortunately.

Is a physician assistant the politically correct term for a nurse? If not then what is the difference between that and a nurse?

Just wanted to say that Tang and I had the opportunity to hang out with Liza and Will. They were so awesome and fun. I like your photographic concept of having Liza attracting attention and stopping traffic in front of the Texas State Capital Building, which I imagine she did. This is not a bad shot of her by any stretch of the imagination, in fact, quite the contrary. Since I am not intimately familiar with the lower back and buttock anatomy of Klingons, I can find no basis for comparison in that regard.

I have only one small criticism of the photo, which has absolutely nothing to do with Liza, the model. It appears to me that there are some shadows in this picture that partially obscure Liza's back and glute/hamsting areas. I would have liked to have seen more detail of these areas. Since she reportedly maintains a year round low body fat condition, the picture would showcase her apparent development and would be even more impressive, absent the shadows.

I appreciate your decision to stick to your principles by electing to pursue optimum development of your physique on a "natural" basis, and by maintaining a healthy, attractive look throughout the year. I wish you well in all of your future bodybuilding endeavors. For what it's worth, Methuselah does appear to have the right ideas.

Must be my European heritage, I LOVE BEER :cheers: One new discovery is "Skullsplitter"...an imported ancient Scottish brew named after the first Earl of the Orkney Islands...a Viking fella. Awesome Stuff. (Alcohol volume 10.5%) One or two'll DO :p and the flavor is AMAZING!

You are a very gracefull poser and obviously love flexing for the camera!
There are some awesome lifts in the gym, and watching your arms explode with vascularity was a definate highlight, as I am a total vascularity freak!
Then there is the posing in the white minidress and red heels, which was also another highlight! There's nothing sexier than seeing a beautiful bodybuilder flex her heart out in the shortest of dresses, stretching the material to it's limits! Great leg poses, in particular gorgeous calves. I had my DVD player on pause for a couple of minutes just admiring your calves, which are also vascular too!
All in all, a superb DVD, and definetly one of my favourites! You did a great job Liza, let's hope there will be another!

They had me go through a light full-body workout in a weakened state that morning while they shot around me...musta drank about 3 red bulls!

I really like the "Commando" concept for this photo shoot. I think that you can create a lot of exciting, hot images if you expanded on the concept. Please consider the following suggestions:

1) Wear digital camouflage pants and tan desert boots. This is what is being used in combat today in Iraq and Afghanistan.

2) Continue with a tank t-shirt and the dog tags.

3) Consider applyilng a streak or two of camouflage face paint.

4) Consider head band or bandana for some of the shots.

5) You need bigger.....knives. A folding knife just "doesn't cut it." Check out www.actiongear.com (http://www.actiongear.com/)

6) Find someone who can loan you an assault rifle, an Uzi, a Mac-10, and/or a semiautomatic hand-gun to use as props for your photo shoot.

7) Have fun!

Hey, did you know my dear old dad passed on to me an Indonesian "Dayacs' headhunting sword and scabbard with bone handle and tufts of human hair ...creepy, they used them to make the shrunken heads about 70-80 years ago.... all illegal now, of course! I also own a 6 ft Irish lowlander "working sword"...carbon steel with edges that slice like ribbon, but the bastard is VERY heavy to wield, almost separated my shoulder! Well, I certainly can not attest to your state of mind and/or level of intoxication at the time of your post last night. Regardless, it does sound like you have a great collection of rare items which would make great props for a subsequent photo shoot. It wouldn't hurt to be a little adventurous, and if it takes a few Corona Beers from time to time to get in an adventurous spirit, so be it.

I just hope that you'll take some of the ideas and run with them. I am eager to see the resulting images that you come up with. I am quite confident that you will be very pleased with what you create.

Remember, if it is opportunity you want from bodybuilding then you must take the road less traveled. It is a waste of your time to simply wait around, like everyone else, hoping that some supplement company will give you a business opportunity. Sometime, someplace there may be a company that might want to use one of the unique pictures from your portfolio for their marketing campaign. You never know. One thing is for sure, you need to create your opportunities. Sorry, now I am babbling. Good Luck.

I am sending Gene a couple of photos from my last dive trip...It was impossible to train for a week, but interestingly enough I lost a couple of pounds despite the high fat diet served to us by the galley cook :headscrat ...my metabolism cranked while underwater to avoid hypothermia

I am still out here, just wanted to say "Howdy"...taking a break in 2006 from competing, as I did 7 shows between 2003-2005 and got a little burnt :)
I was definitely happy with the 2 World Titles, but needed to back off and re-group!

I plan on doing the WNBF Universe (if held in 2007) and the WNBF Pro Worlds again...
