Here what she wrote too about these pics from after Masters:
Well finally made it to Philly, I miss Cali a little, but am acclimating well here. I've been here for 3 weeks now and just doing stuff around our condo, and of course training.
They were taken by Jesus Chavez, who has done alot of my photos in the past.

Looking good. I just have to ask though, are the tattoos on your stomach real? Good luck to you michelle in the land of T.O. and Mcnabb.

Hi Ibarramedia, Yeah they are real, long story behind it, in a nutshell I have had several
hernia operations(genetic problem) and last superbowl Sunday, went crazy with the lettering(there's a special meaning to it). When I competed at the Masters though I did cover most of it up with stage makeup, figuring the judges wouldn't want to see so much in front. It worked good. And yes, will be rooting for the Eagles hope Mcnabb plays this Sunday as I will be going to the game(in style in a suite box, as my husband works for a major corp and he gets these killer tickets)
Tre, LOL, I do own a pair of 10lb wts!!!
Gene, thanks for putting the pics up for me, it was a surprise!! God Bless you all,
Michelle ;>)

Hi Marlene, girlie girl!! I wish i could support you at the Nationals, but we will not be going :>(!. Trying to acclimate her in Philly. Don't laugh, but there is this body part challenge tommorow here and I'm going to do it!! The only thing about those is audience participation and that's how you win. Just a fun thing to do, I'm still in pretty good shape!! At least my arms LOL!! Keep us updated on your progress!!
Say Hi to Freddy, Big Hugs!!! :p

Whoowee Michelle! I love the photos again you're definitely worth the hype! Both upper and lower body wise! And I love you're French Manicure (Salon Acrylic Nails) & your French Pedicure (White Tipped Toenails)! Just smoking hot! No disrespect to your man though.

I told you!! :p
Next yr will be my 20th yr in the NPC, and hope to finally turn pro at the Masters next yr. i think I'm the longest running amateur to date now. Robin finally did it, last yr Pam Kusar(ltwt) did it.
Darn I was in the same shows Sharon Bruneu, Kim Chisevsky, Heather Foster, and many others had turned pro at. :o

Hang in there Michelle. Your perseverance will pay. I already consider you a true sister of iron regardless of whether you do get that pro card. You have faced the toughest competition in all venues at all levels. Your path was never the easiest.

Congratulations to you Michelle! You are like the female Jerry Rice in longevity in the sport. you have been competing since Cory Everson's emergence as Ms. Olympia and heck even Rachel Mclish was still competing.
Other notables who have been competing that long are Mary Ellen Warman, Liza larence (used to be Leribeus). Tazzie Colomb, Robin Parker. Imagine if the great Diana Denis still competed, she would have been a competitor in 4 decades. That would have been awesome.

Michelle asked me to send her some resized stage pics I shot at the Masters Nationals in July to post here, but my e-mail bounced back (User mailbox exceeds allowed size) so I'll just post them myself.

Michele had one of the best physiques in the show, and I think she would have won if she hadn't faced the Robin Parker juggernaut.

Michell,
I would come in just as you did from the pictures above..... there's nothing wrong with your conditioning or your size..... believe in yourself!!! After all these years for you it just wasn't your time yet.... Just think how meaningful it will be when it is... :)
Love ya,

You know what Michelle, at your next pro qualifier, you would make a Beautiful Middleweight or a Light-Heavyweight Bodybuilder period. In my opinion the Light Heavys are right up your alley since that's everyone's favorite division in Bodybuilding. Boy the Pros need 4 weight classes and the overalls as well as the Amateurs.
Can't wait to see you become "Freaky Shredded" again. Great build without being Ultra Massive but more Symmetrical & Proportionate for sure.
God I love Vascular Women.

Now those are somemore good pictures of Michelle right there and again Michelle those are some of the most Beautiful French Manicure (Salon Acryilc Nails) and French Pedicure (White Tipped Toenails) on the continent, let alone the world.
An I'm glad Michelle that you're going to comeback as a Light-Heavyweight because that is the hottest division in Women's Bodybuilding right now. It's just so perfect that Light-Heavyweights are shaping up to redefine what "Real Hardcore Bodybuilding's all about as well as being the shape of things to come".
