For those of you who don't already know Christine Moore suffered a serious shoulder injury, from a car accident, while onduty several years ago.

In a case of sexual discrimination, the city of cleveland is now putting a motion up to disallow her case stating she was never hurt.

The reason "she is a female bodybuilder" They have taken pictures from the internet from years before the accident to her most recent competition stating that is the proof she cant be hurt, because of how she looks.

Every picture is a modeling type shot or a photo from on stage.

MY QUESTION TO ALL IS, WHO HAS HAD A INJURY AND TRAINED AROUND IT MAINTAINING THERE OVERALL HEALTH IN THE PROCESS?

Please state your injury and how you were able to still keep some level of fitness by training around your injury.

This is gonna be national news, who wants to support WBB or BB in general. Basically, the city of cleveland is saying how a woman should look.

Please add your comments.

Thank you,

Dennis78

I have attached some photos of the police car she was in at the time of the accident,to show the damage done. Chris was the passenger in the car with a 260 some lbs partner who was slammed against her in the accident. The 3rd picture shows skid marks of how far the car was pushed.

That's bizarre. The lawyers for Cleveland would have to be utter morons to submit a motion on those grounds.

Are we positive that the city isn't claiming that since she's a bodybuilder (female notwithstanding) and routinely works out with heavy weights, that her shoulder is obviously functional?

The city has a lot of idiots some one who knows nothing just jumped the gun as usually is the case and to be honest ...she never was into the powerlifting aspect, as her trainer, I always emphasized proper form and complete contraction not amount of wieght used.

Sound like the usual B.S. we hear from Insurance agencies or Government agencies or any other agencies who will do and say anything to keep from paying out money to injured workers. I hope Christine takes them to the cleaners. Best of luck to you Christine.

Dennis she might need a good lawyer. She has to say the shoulder injury has hurt her in every phase of her endeavors from police work to bodybuilding and then she must say she's disabled.

They are trying to screw everybody on disability nowadays because everybody is trying to get it. It is preferable to work around injuries like shoulders and knees or backs.

If your knee is screwed up you do lying down bench presses or similar movements.

If your shoulders are screwed up you do back work and leg work as well as abs, calves and bicep and tricep isolation exercises.

When you are a professional athlete in whatever sport, get injured during your job (in this case a city job) and try to claim either a lawsuit or workmans compensation ? You might as well seriously look for other alternate ways to keep yourself healthy and stay AWAY from the gym. Until the case is closed.

The insurance company will do everything in their power to prove to the court and/or jury that you are A-OK. They (insurance companies) know in the long run once our bodies have suffered a traumatic blow to it, will not recouperate like when you were 10 yrs old. Uh ah. No.

Even though the damage was internal, the jury will be shallow enough to judge by how you look not by how many brokes bones or torn muscles were effected by this accident.

If she is going into surgery over this injury, my best suggestion is that she get an excellent attorney in workmans comp or labor laws and document EVERYTHING...everytime she sees a doctor,...mileage from her home to the doctor's door..tolls..therapy....rehab...etc.. Get a MRI or CATScan of it to show the extent of the injury and have her get a copy of the prints.

Seriously, they will watch her like a hawk for her to make that ONE crucial mistake and her case will be thrown out no matter how bad her injuries were. TRUST NO ONE..until the case is over.

I speak from experience...I know.

Damned good advice orlaveg21. I hope Christine takes it. These insurance people will sit in a car, armed with cameras, across from where they live just waiting for her to mow the lawn or carry weights around or carry garbage out to the curb. I know several people who were caught doing stuff like that and it's all over for them when their caught on camera doing it. Also, "TALK TO NO ONE" , and I mean no one, about your case or your injuries or any trips you planning or how much better you think you've been feeling lately. Talk to no one about any of it. Ever! You would be shocked to discover who is willing to turn you in.
