Hi K-max
Interesting article but I kept getting distracted by that new Kim Tilden
pictorial. ;)
Will try reading the article again tomorrow.

OF COURSE Smishek is looking out for Canadian promoters first (nothing wrong with that)...That's why he's got the Nats scheduled for the same day as the only other event that Candians can go pro - he wants to keep them competing in the CBBF (so much for being "about the athletes" - but it's good business sense).
I'll bet your dollar to my doughnut that it's the same in 2007 and 8 if at all possible...I suppose it will depend on who the president is at that time (there's an election coming up, if I recall correctly).

Great stuff, K-Max.
Your American readers may not know or care much about this, but I know your Canadian athletes really appreciate it. Well done.

Your article brings home some very solid points K-Max. Somebody in the CBBF and IFBB ought to coordinate if they want to sage a North American show that is truly representative of the continent at large. The North Americans had some trouble as a promotion one year. Regardless of the scheduling conflict, I am glad to see them pulling it off and maybe they ought to give more pro cards?
