Hi Everyone.

Nice to see we are able to post here now. Well done Gene.

I am impressed with Heather and her strong woman competiton.
I love it and I have done 15 competitions by now. I am getting ready for my next one, held in Norway on the 24 of April. It is my first competition since surgery in January (breast implants). I am so looking forward to it and meeting up with some of the women I know from other competitions. I will let you know how it goes!

PS I won the Met-Rx hercules hold competition at the Arnold Expo 2005 in 1 min 27 sec. They are giving me some supplements for that!

Hi Gene,

I had a very busy Arnold so no wonder we missed out on seeing each other! My husband was not feeling so well when we got to Columbus (having spent 4 days in New York first, and it was cold). Friday I spent most of the time on my own with him staying in bed upstairs at the hotel. I was lucky to meet up with Mari Asp (strong woman and world class bench presser with the American record in her bag doing 150kg, 330 lbs last week). We ran into many of our friends from the strong man/power lifting world and watched the Arnold Strong Man competition with them.
I went to the friday evening show on my own, sharing the taxi from the hotel with some really great people, who turned out to be Michelle Adams and friends. Michelle (IFBB Pro) is a darling and also very pretty (and the best of luck to her in future competitions).
Saturday I went to the Expo on my own, watching the strong man again with Mari and others. Norwegian Tv were there to see what Svend Karlsen got up to in the competition and the did a interview with Mari (her being from Norway). Mari told the Tv people that I did strong woman as well and they asked me to lift Mari. I ended up also lifting the Tv guy and Mari filmed it for them!
When I got back up to the room at 5pm, my husband was so bad, we had to get him to hospital, where I spent the evening while they did all kinds of tests to find out what was wrong with him. We both missed out on the men's bodybuilding finale and the last event of the strong man show. They admitted my husband to the hospital for observation and I left him there at 2.30 in the morning.
Sunday, back to the Expo after having breakfast with power lifter Ilja Strick (from Holland) and the rest of the gang from the Inzer booth.
I entered the Met-Rx hercules hold competition, which I won holding the buckets for 1min 27sec and won some supplements.

After a long day at the Expo, I finally went to the hospital to take my husband back to the hotel. They doctors had treated him with medicine over the night and he was doing much better. He had pneumonia and is still not quite right.

I am back to training heavy both in the gym and in event training. My next competition is in Norway on the 24th of April and I am really looking forward to it.
