View Full Version : Movies (and TV Shows) With FBBs: A Fun List

I was just thinking it would be cool if we could put together a list of movies that have FBB in cameos and such. Here's the way it works:
1 List your movie, and the name of the FBB in the movie or epsiode from TV and the Charcter name if they have one.
2 If you don't know the Name of the FBB, Put it down as a Question mark and then when someone gives you the answer go back and edit your previous post.
3 If you can, Post a frame from the Epsisode featuring the FBB.
Simple. I'll Start:
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier - Spice Williams as Vixis
Alien Tracker - Chyna (Joanie Laurer) as Woman Possessed By Alien
3rd Rock From The Sun: This Little Dick Went to Market & The Big Giant Head Returns Again - Chyna (Joanie Laurer)
Psych - He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me, Oops He's Dead - Ocean Bloom as Body Builder Speed Dater
Napoleon Dynamite: Carmen Brady as Starla
Double Impact (1991) Corry Everson as Kara

Not to be touchy, but I suggested something like this a while ago, and also thought that something like fan reviews (though maybe nothing as formal as that word suggests) might be nice. For instance, someone has mentioned before that Cory Everson's part in Double Impact (through no fault of hers) doesn't use her terribly well. So very little "reviews" might tell someone the good or bad sides to expect when to comes to the FBB's part in the thing. There are several more TV show episodes I can name (though I'm not sure of the episode titles).
The Drew Carey Show - Lori Fetrick in two episodes (one very briefly at beginning)
Ellen -
The New Outer Limits - both Lori Fetrick
Mama's Family -
Out Of This World - both Spice Williams
Just Shoot Me - Nikki Fuller (very briefly at end)
Martin - Debbie Muggli

Raven Hawk - Rachel MacLish
Getting Physical (a TV movie about FBBs, that came out not too long after the subject really took off) - MacLish, Lisa Lyons and others
Chyna was also in a Pacific Blue episode I've never seen, and in the TV movie Alien Fury. And probably a ton of other things. For a while there, you could see her on TV any given week, even outside of wrestling.

I think we are listing only movies and tv shows not documentaries and talk shows or news. Jana has to play a role or act.

For our purposes, we were listing movies and tv shows that are fiction. Ongoing series where she is playing a character other than herself.

That leads to a question that could probably be debated forever, in hopefully an easy-going way, not a very serious one. (Although it's a very slightly touchy one, if you have the HUGE crush on one of them that I've always had.) On places like IMDB, the American Gladiators credits are given just like a fiction show's credits, as in "Ice" - Lori Fetrick ; "Zap" - Raye Hollitt etc.
And of course, they all DID have to use a kind of "persona," just like the people on the wrestling shows. The little question is, how much do you think of "Ice" and "Zap" and so on, as anything like "roles" in the strict sense of the word? (I don't mean ANYTHING like rigged competitions - which as far as I know the show was never accused of, even by people who HATED it - I mean, again, a "persona" that each one used.)

It is a combination of athletic competition and entertainment. They were told to assume a persona.
As far as the thread topic, I try to keep it simple like the examples listed. It does not have to be rocket science. So, I listed competitors who were featured in movies or TV episodes of shows that were fictitious and had to portray characters and in most cases memorize lines. Not a magazine show, News,Documentary or any other TV appearance. Other people are splitting hairs on this. I don't understand why they do. It's not that complicated.

Teagan Clive in Armed and Dangerousas "Staff Member"
Yeah, I remember that part -- John Candy and Eugene Levy try to barge into a health club to investigate something. Anyway, Teagan Clive and Tina Plackinger are there to stop the bumbling rent-a-cops from getting in.
...
Ibarramedia beat me to mentioning Raye Hollitt in Skin Deep. That's a pretty funny movie, actually. Raye's part is not huge, but she gets some face time.
...
And now I get to nominate a performance that no one else has yet tabbed: the extended locker-room sequence in the 2002 Rollerball with Chris Klein and FBB Yolanda Hughes.

I think Skin Deep had The BEST portrayal of a FBB to date. other shows and movies had fbbs either as a cameo, villain, caricature or strongwoman type.

I agree with you, although (like most of you, I'm sure) I wonder how John Ritter's character brought himself to actually leave after spending the night with her!
I've said this elsewhere, but there's one half-way subtle thing I've always liked about the Chyna character on 3rd Rock. There are a whole lot of comedies where a big, tough-looking MAN turns out to be a "gentle giant." But usually a big, tough-looking WOMAN in a comedy really IS that way. So it was kind of original for that show to make her character so sensitive in that one scene, where she's challenged by the Sally character.

Wait, Is she the strength coach? That must be Jill Mills. The Bodybuilder/Powerlifter/Strongwoman.
I never saw the episode but she was being discussed in it last year. Almost forgot about it.

The best made so far. Did you even watch the entire Skin Deep movie? If not, then I suggest you do. Compare it to all the movies we listed then get back to me if they have a much better portrayal. If you really saw Skin Deep and not just the clip, you will notice that Raye Hollit's character has a pretty intelligent conversation with John Ritter at the piano bar. This is before he even realized that she was a bodybuilder. Raye's character had a littel more depth. The movie is about all the women that John Ritter's character slepta round with. So it is appropriate that they had a humorous bed scene.
I will say this again, the other movies, portray fbbs as cameo, villain, freak, caricature or strongwoman type. Raven hawk with Rachel McLish might be the next best one, though she is portrayed as a rambo-esque ass kicker.
Show me something better before you call me nuts.

i saw the whole movie 2 times in cinema and several times in video...
"i trained for years just for this one moment" ...to f.ck with a loser:headscrat
i think this movie had a lot to do with the mainstream thinking : a fbb doesnt find a real man and she is thankfull to get a loser at least

I did not say it was perfect. I said it was the best out there. Sure they can improve on it. But at least it is still better than the other movies. Quite candidly, the other movies listed are garbage. It only drew our attention to it because it has fbbs.

I saw a quick clip of Heather Ambrust the other day on CRAIG FERGISON, he was talking about Maddonna and say how some people have said she's too musclar. Then he says do we have a clip of Maddonna? and they showed a clip of Heather on stage flexing. Craig followed up by saying "I don't know whether I'm attracted or scared... but then again I'm european."
I nominate this as Heather playing Maddonna on tv lol.

Rebekka Armstrong is in this 80's flick called The Immortalizer before she became a bodybuilder. It is kind of a B movie or a C movie. Pretty Cheezy but you get to see her there along with Raye Hollitt
