From an interview with Ruth Silverman (of Ironman(?), I believe):

"To me, the women are trying to look sexy on stage in many cases and it's more about that. It's about looking strong and powerful and athletic."
"There's sexiness and sensualness in movement of the female body. It still has to look like a female body. It can't look like a body that has been attempted to make it look more female like putting in a set of implants."
Note: I'm NOT quoting verbatim. Listen to the interview for the exact wording.
Interesting view and I agree with this. To he honest, I think that was precisely what got me very interested in the female physique. The movement of the feminine muscle, and the strength that enmates from it. Not just only the pure sexual attraction. Admiration as well. This is sort of going back to looking at the old school physique attraction. It's nogalistic (apologies for the spelling. :D )
Coincidentally, it was during my years as an 6-8 year old doing channel surfing one day and turning into the sports channel during a late 80's olympia and made the Ooohs and ahhs. Wow, how things have changed since then eh?

When I click the link I get a page with a nice picture of Bev (and a much bigger pic of some guy :-< ) but no text and no link to text. Does one need to be a member of that site to see the text?

I think you need to have some sorta audio player installed already or maybe flash. It just starts playing the audio automagically for me

The picture of Bev Francis is a flash movie with the audio interview playing in it. So, if you have the flash player plug-in installed for your browser, you'll hear it when you go to the page.

It's funny how one of the things Bev mentions is that the muscles all have to flow together. It's something she only came close to in her huge offseason shape. It's also somehing Iris doesn't have, it's one of the reason's I've never been a big supporter of her. Her physique is complete but it just doesn't have that grace of line that I think marks that something that makes a woman MS. O. Yaxeni has it. Annie Rivieccio has it. Gina Davis has it. These women can carry a lot of size but everything just fits right. You're eyes are drawn from one bodypart to the next.

The Flow
Sounds like Master Yoda ranting about "The Force" :D
The question is whether you can build it or you are born with it.
And what if "The Flow" is not with you?
try powerlifting?

Iris has it.
I know a lot of you don't like the package it's wrapped in with respect to her face, but you cannot honestly deny the aesthetic beauty of her physique - the parts do fit together quite well.

In other words, quit hating on Iris! She never did anything to anyone.

"Bodybuilding hasn't gone forward...I think it needs to be pulled back...Huge implants and huge muscles that are beyond what's aesthetically pleasing seem to be the run of the mill..."
Coming from Bev Francis, that speaks volumes.
