I am also an ELITE Powerlifter totaling 1255 @ the 2004 Naz Strength Spectacular in the 165 pound class and also took the "overall" aka BEST LIFTER AWARD. I have a 500 pound squat, 470 dead and 285 bench in competition. I have benched 300 in the gym .

I work full time as the VP of Information Technology and E-Commerce . I also am the Vice Chairman for the New Jersey NPC!

My best friend is Heather Lee of Heatherleenj.com and I am very close friends with many other FBBS!

I love this sport and will do whatever it takes to keep it positive and professional! :)

T-Bone, Well after I had a brain slip and got some lettering tatooed right in the middle of my abs Super Bowl SundayLOL, I don't know if the judges would like it since its right at the center. I felt I was done with the stage, but my motto has always been "Never Give Up", so to answer you question I may get back on stage next yr at the, Master Nationals. feel that out with the judges and then possibly get back to the reg Nationals the following yr. I have this running joke with my friends that I"ll be the first gal to turn pro at 50(which is only a few yrs away). :eek:

I have been training for 10 years, and competing since 2001...Bodybuilding is my first love, but powerlifting & strongman give me other outlets to compete in, and give me reason to keep motivated all year long!!!

I stand corrected (as indicated in another thread in this forum) - Sissel won an IFBB pro qualifier, but has reported that she's still an amateur because the Swedish federation which sanctioned the event is not handling her application.

You don't sell your show as a "pro qualifier" and then make it something else.

Great motivation when I now start to train at the gym again, after 8 weeks brake. Summertime I allmost only walke, run and ride my bike. This is a way for me to keep up my motivation the rest of year. I love to bb-train, and it gives me so mutch.
At competitions I meet other athlets with greate physik and personality. Do not have any special plans about were or when I will compeed next time. Hopefully I get the oportunity to compeed outside of Scandinavia sooner or later.

I am new to your site. It is a pleasure and honor to participate.

I have been lifting for 16+ years and competing since 1998. Freddy is my trainer/husband. Our first date was in the gym followed by lunch and a drive along the coast. Before having our three children we would hit the gym 2 or three times per day. We were hardcore and there was nothing we liked better than training.

Now we own a gym and basically live there. We spend all day there and get to save on gas, not driving back and forth several times.

This was the only site that I could find information about the show. Another dear friend and gym buddy of ours Greg Jones (4th Heavywt. 2004 Nationals) was acting as my sports commentator giving me play by play updates via cell phone, bless his heart.

I'd also like to take a minute to congratulate Britt and all the other winners at USA's. There was an awesome field of competitors and I am proud of each of them even though I don't know them personally. As a competitor I know what a challenge it is to train, diet, and get on that stage to be critiqued not only by judges but by thousands of others. Anyone who can endure that journey and that scrutiny deserves praise and acknowledgement. Anyone who competes is a "winner" to me.

My Name is Norah Josephsen, and I am from a city called Odense in Denmark.

I am 26 yrs. old and I have been compeeting in bodyfitness +164cm for 1 year now.
I won the nationals the first time I enter the contest last year and I am going to compete at the worlds in 4 weeks :eek:

Besides BF I compete in powerlifting, primary benchpresscompetitions - and is right now the owner of the danish record in my class with a best bench at 215 pounds.

My other stats are 178cm (5.8 feet) and 66 kg (145lb)

Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself as I am new to the forum. I've been watching this site for about 3 years but have just recently been watching the forums. My name is Carla Litzell and I have competed in Fitness at the state and national level before I was married and my name was Carla Walburn. I won the Debbie Kruck Fitness back in 2001 and placed 5th at the Team Universe in Fitness in 2002. One week before the 2002 Nationals (in which I was in the best shape of my life) I injured my knee. I had knee surgery and am getting ready to compete again. In between my injury and now I competed in the 2003 Jr. USA Figure show and placed 3rd but I really prefer Fitness for me. I am able to do my gymnastics again and am working to get back to competition. Yeah!! It's been difficult getting back into the dieting...I hate it but I love to compete. I tried to upload a pic that Gene actually took of me back at the 2002 USA's (I think it was the USA's) but I am having some problems getting the file to load. I'll keep trying.

And thanks to everyone for the positive feedback on the pictures. It's been a truly amazing journey for me over the past few years. As someone mentioned, In 2004 I was on a reality show called "Ultimate Goals". When I started that show I weighed 194 lb.s. At the end of 8 weeks my weight was 162 lbs. On December 3, 2005, I competed in and won the middleweight & overall titles at the Excalbur Bodybuilding & Fitness Championships in Los Angeles. I weighed 130.5 lbs!!!!! I'm so excited about the prospects for 2006 as my trainer and I continue to build on the foundation that we've laid. Thanks again, for "giving me love". :sprite10: :cheers: :rockon:

At our Provincial shows, we are not allowed any jewelry other than small earrings, wedding bands and small naval rings.
We are also not allowed to wear any shiny fabric, textured fabric like velvet or anything with sparkle....boring compared to my figure gear loaded with swavorski crystals, crushed velvet and 5" heels...

That's why I like to mix in the bodybuilding poses in my photo shoots as you are well aware! :o

I have great genetic depth between my abs and thickness of the muscles, but I also have a thick waist...noone is perfect! We all have to accentuate the possitive to take away from the negative. Abs are all about diet and body comp. You can see from that older photo you posted of me that I wasn't as lean then as I have gotten recently in 2005. Each year my body comp. seems to be able to drop lower as I train smarter and diet slowly. I do things a lot differently as a natural athlete ..it takes me 2x's as long to recovery from everything and I don't over train..but I would NEVER change that about myself!

I have great genetic depth between my abs and thickness of the muscles, but I also have a thick waist...noone is perfect! We all have to accentuate the possitive to take away from the negative. Abs are all about diet and body comp. You can see from that older photo you posted of me that I wasn't as lean then as I have gotten recently in 2005. Each year my body comp. seems to be able to drop lower as I train smarter and diet slowly. I just met Hans this weekend, at a special welcome party for Iris Kyle. He kindly posted this link on another site. So nice to find a forum dedicated to female BBers, the whole scene is usually so male dominated.

I am quite new to competing, even though the gym and weight training has been one of my fav hobbies for AGES.

I am going into my second season, focusing on the BNBF (British Natural Bodybuilding Federation), physique or bodybuilding, and WABBA (World Amateur Bodybuilding Federation), figure.

I already post on WAY too many muscle forums, I am doing a part time Masters degree right now, but I am a complete blabber fingers, so I couldn't resist!

Hello everyone. I thought I'd finally get over my shyness and introduce myself. My name is Lena Boone. I just did my first bodybuilding show last month---NPC Sunshine Classic. I was the lone women's heavyweight. (Sigh) We need more women competing, you know? Like, seriously.
