Yo gene, i love the 2005 Mt SAC Track and Feild gallery (http://www.ftvideo.com/genex/results_05/mtsac/index.htm) that you added. Awesome shots. i noticed there were a few black & white (b&w) shots included in that gallery. Being a huge fan of b&w photography, any chance of seeing more of this on the site?

One.

HSF, you beat to this.

Anyone who has never been to a meet should give it a go.

Gene, who is this one shot putter, and/or what shcool is she from?

Anybody know how Adriane Blewitt is ranked at Shot? She looks like she could throw it to the moon, or at least win an olympic metal.

I was supposed to post it on the front page yesterday, but the 3 contests gallerys had to come first. So here is your sneek peek at what's coming up!

Wow, what a great story, Gene. Very inspirational - kinda like Lance Armstrong. In fact, she should have her own colored wristband... ;)

Adriane is awesome she went to Ashland Univ. in Ohio, its kind of a religious school. There are many hidden gems out there as far as T&F goes. I went to a meet at meet a few years ago at NC State there were several gals there competing worthy of a photo shoot :)

Thanks everyone. Adriane rocks and we'll be following her as she looks to qualify for the next Olympics. I personally really enjoy shooting T&F and I also like B&W photography a lot so thanks for all the feedback!

Should have known she was trained by Charles Poliquin, he produces some very strong and muscular athletes (Cathy Millen another example)...

So I know she's got to be strong as an ox. Do you happen to know any of her lifts?

I agree Michelle. I loved how Alley Miesch-Nie competed as a hvywt bber and as a pro beach volleyball player at the same time - it brings the look of competitive fbbers to a whole new audience.
