Has anyone here ever used a Nitric Oxide (NO) product? If yes, what is your opinion, based upon your results & experience with it? i am asking because i have read conflicting articles on the subject, have never tried it and, would like to hear some first hand accounts.

I had a friend that tried it and got really really sick, but I just heard from somebody else the other day that it works great. I guess it all depends how it works in your individual system. If you do decide to use it can you tell me how well it works? Thanks.

You know, a friend of mine had used a NO product and while she was working out she started having crazy-rapid heart palpitations. She really had to slow down and lower her intensity. On the other hand, i have heard accounts of it being really good -- in terms of the pump you get. Additionally, i have read papers that are on both sides of the fence, some saying it works, others saying it does not.
Hey man, however it goes i will continue looking into it. So if i try it i will definately give you some feedback.

Thanks man, oddly enough the guy that said he got sick had a very simpular reaction with the heart palpitations, up until the point where he regurgitated all over the gym. If you do use it make sure you start with a lower dosage and make sure you body takes to it right. The story that you told me just confirms his, so I think I may stay clear of it at lest for now. It sucks because you either hear really good things or really bad things. Has anyone selse tried it? Keep me updated HumanFreakShow300, but just be careful.

you guys have me curious, there is a supp shop next to my gym, I'll check it out today with the owner. I may even try it, and give you guys the input. I used to sell all this stuff when I had my own gym, but out of the loop, since. If I see a product that is convincing enough to try I will give a go and feedback with an honest opinion.

Hey thanks. Likewise, i will do the same. i really am interested to see what the effects will be. It is my understanding that the long-term effects of its use are good and i am not really concerned with the short term effect of the "pump" that dissipates after a few hours.

I've been using a NO product for a few weeks now. So far I'm not particularly impressed with the "extra" pump. I don't really think there is any. Anyhow, I paid my $41.95 + tax and I'm going to use every damn pill in the bottle. If my opinion changes I'll post it. I'll pay particular attention to my heart rate after reading some of the previous posts......damn, that sounds kinda scary.
The only real, and I mean real, empiracle study that I could find on NO prior to buying a bottle was the one done at Baylor University not too long ago. It's the same study that is quoted in a NO article/paid 'advertorial' in the recent issue of Muscular Development with Markus Ruhl on the cover, page 56 I think - you may want to check it out. The study found that the results were a little better than negligible from the way I read it. Super boring, the study report not the MD article.
I don't think I'll be buying another bottle. But we'll see.....

Thanks for all the input. i think i am going to run my own "study" with myself as the guinea pig. i am not sure what to expect, but i will certainly post all relevant data (positive + negative) based upon my findings. Who knows, it might end up being no to NO.
tin nuts, i will check out the article you mentioned. i do not read that mag., so i will just slide into the bookstore for a quickie.
