Also she is a NO NONSENSE TRAINER...WHO HAS BUSTED MY "GLUTES" TO THE MAX!!!!!

Patricia Melo is amazing ... I love that super-hard look so many of the Brazilian figure competitors get. They're basically as cut as NPC bodybuilders, just with less mass. It's a very impressive look.

Anne, great shots of Pia's back. I love the deep cuts in her traps ... she also has pretty dry lats, glutes, and hamstrings. I have a deep appreciation for the European standard of figure/bodyfitness physiques, which promotes high levels of definition.

The competitor on the far left of your third pic also has a nicely delineated derrière, the two triangles of muscle being readily discernible. Do you know her name?

Michelle Greer at the 2005 Junior Nationals. She has oustanding proportions -- a wide pelvis offsetting her well-delineated glute muscles, tiny knees and ankles framing her huge calves. Nice inner thigh development, too:

Yeah ... I always think of Avis as being hard more than big, because I've seen so many post-comp shots of her where she looks super-dry. But you're absolutely right -- she's got loads muscle to spare (her rear delts, traps, and lats are immense for figure).

Well ... here's a hot-off-the-press shot of Krissy Chin's lean backside from the recent Jacksonville Pro figure show:

This photographer does a good job of catching the competitors in the middle of their quarter-turns, when the movement causes their glutes to get flex and bunch up for a second.
