Tangela Morgan, because I am bias! She is all woman, sexy, strong, beautiful. A display of muscularity over feminine qualities. She is able to bring attention to FBB from areas that may not have normally found it interesting due to the extremes that normally are exploited. Hey, she is my wife so she is always number one to me.

Thanks Manuel. I know that she could be bigger and all that but like I explain to everyone. She is genetically gifted in many ways and certainly able to respond to supplements that could put her on stage at 165-185 easy, but I prefer her sexy and everyone at shows wanting pics with her that dont even follow FBB and the women at our gyms that we attend saying hey you are pretty and I want to look like that. Not oh **** is that a guy or whatever. There is not enough of a reward to sacrifice your beauty or feminine qualities to us. Regardless of how she would ever place in the future contests, she really enjoys the photoshoots with Gene X, Mike Y, Reg B, and Tom Nine. I believe that FBB is divided between the women who subscribed to the hypermuscle and that extreme and the women fighting to return a 'cap' to prevent the hypermuscle and extreme. I respect all competitors, but I just cant ever see FBB getting a foothold in the marketable world or endorsements based on extreme physiques and isolating itself to a small band of fans desiring that bigger must be better mentality. Again its my opinion so dont get a gun out shooting at me. :sprite10: The whole trend has not been fair since athletes in general are willing to make certain sacrifices to win. there are women out there (based on Lenda's interview) that did not prefer to get bigger and bigger but did what they had to do to try to win. Now they are there being told get more feminine and for some it may not ever happen. what do they do? definitely a jacked up position. We'll just enjoy the fun of meeting new and great competitors and having fun doing photoshoots until the her time comes to move up in the ranks. Heck she will make great gains this year alone as she has every year to be competitive in Miami, and worst case we will have a limo ride and a great time while we are there.

same back at you sweetie. i dont want to offend but I have my views and its not putting tang on a stage at 185 lbs. to only be respected by a small few as oppose to a larger population of people finding marketable attributes about her for possible acting, commercials, photoshoots, and other opportunities.

We love ya. one week now. i am so drained. i want pizzaaaaaaaaaa. lol

Of course Yaxeni Oriquen will be right up there, also I say Jitka Harazimova. She could be Ms. Olympia if all goes well for her? Brenda Raganot should do well. Marja Lehtonen deserves a good look. What are Joanna Thomas' plans. She is going to have to get in there again now that her TV show is in reruns on TLC. I wish Monica Martin could make it? Now there are also some new pro's that would like to step up to that level?

I say Jitka Harazimova. She should be Ms. Olympia if all goes well? Brenda Raganot should do well. Marja Lehtonen deserves a good look. I MUST AGGREE WITH THE NAMES LISTED,,MARJA'S INDESCRIBABLE MUSCULARITY'S POWERFUL BEAUTY IS FAR BEYOND DESERVING OF SOME LONG OVER DUE RESPECTFULL PLACING AT THE OLYMPIA,,I SAY IT THAT WAY BECAUSE FROM EVERY ASPECT OF HER COMPETING SHE'S NOT AT ALL BEEN GIVEN HER PROPPER RECOGNITION BY AN APPROPRIATE HIGHER PLACING,,AND JITKA,,TRULY IS AS WELL BEYOND PERFECTION OF MUSCULARITY,,AND INDEED AS WITH MARJA,IS RAPIDLY HEADING FOR POSESSING A MAGNIFICENT STANDARD TYPE PHYSIQUE TO BE MARVELED AT AND REFERANCED TO BY OTHERS!!! BRENDA HAS ALWAYS EXPRESSED EXCEEDING MUSCULARITY,,THUS EVERY YEAR I EXPECT TO SEE HER BLOSOM EVEN MIGHTIER IN AESTHETIC MUSCULAR BRILLIANCE THAN SHE HAD DONE IN EACH UEAR PRIOR,THOUGH WHAT SHE'D GAINED EVERY YEAR WAS INDEED TRULY AWESOMED,,BUT HERS IS A GENETIC GIFTING THAT CAN BE TAPPED INTO FOR FAR GREATER UP-HEAVALS OF MAGNIFICENT MUSCULAR MATURITY,,,IN MY HUMBLED OPINION!!!!

OK,I'M DEFINITELY IN THE DARK NOW,,,WHAT TV SHOW HAS JOANNA THOMAS BEEN DOING????????????Hey Shadowman, cool thread. First to answer your question, the TV show that Maxt was referring to is the Documentary "Supersize She" that appeared on TLC during the summer last year but has since been rerun on that channel from time to time. The Show was very entertaining, educational and imformative.

You may want to go to www.Discovery.com/tlc to find out when that show will broadcast again. Also in the documentary is IFBB Pro Jeannie Paparone, National Level Bodybuilder Debbie Bramwell and Joanna's parents as well.

So in your spare time if the show comes back on Cable/Satellite TV then you should check it out, you won't regret it.

Second, my choices for Ms. Olympia would be: Yaxeni Oriquen, Jitka Harazimova, Lisa Aukland, Brenda Raganot, Amanda Dunbar, Sarah Dunlap, Kristy Hawkins, Debi Laszewski, Autumn Raby, Jeannie Paparone, Christine's Moore & Sabo, Cindy Johnson, Sophie Duquette, Kim Harris, Cathy Priest, Jennifer Abrams, Nicole's Ball & Berg, Heather Policky, Gerri Deach, Beth Roberts, Britt Miller, Tonia Williams, Sheila Bleck and so my tastes kind of varies on that subject. LOL I better stop while I'm ahead, I'm still reccuparating from the Arnold's.

Bonnie Priest. She could be the next Cory. Of the new crop of fbb, she's doing the best. She's young, beautiful, great personality, and of course.....aesthetically big and muscular.

This may sound like a cop out, but the most deserving women for Ms. Olympia is the one that comes in at her peak conditioning that night. There are so many fantastic women at this level, it is hard to say whether Iris or Yaxeni is better. So whoever prepares better, works harder, comes in best that night should win.

Hey Tripper!

Your viewpoint is not a "cop-out," it is the way things should be. What is the point of having a "contest" if the winner(s) are pre-determined?

Oh, I don't agree with that at all...And that's my opinion...LOL...
This is a sport, not a beaty high heel lets get sexy shake your booty thing...It should be judged by equal criteria as being used for the guys...Face, hairdo, nail polish, etc. should not be a factor in the competition...

What I would prefer to have laying next to me in bed, is irrelevant to me when I look at the sport...

People seem to think that mainstream society will be more interested when the girls are more girly...But mainstream society isn't that stupid: they don't get into a sport that doesn't have the real sport feel to it either...A few more guys wil watch every now and then to see a piece of a$$, then get bored after seeing it a few times and head on to a porn site on the internet...

Tennis would not be taken seriously if they tel the girls "don't hit too hard, you're playing like a man"
Many female sprinters have more muscle than the figure girls at the Arnolds...100m runners would not be taken seriously if they were told "don't run & train too hard, you'll look like a man"...

Same goes for bodybuilding...

So, it's a catch22 to me: people may not like the sport when the girls are huge & ripped, but they're just as unlikely to like the sport when it's a beauty contest...

Then I prefer to keep this a sport and go for t&a elsewhere...

For me Miss Olympia should be somebody like Iris, like Yaxeni...Oh, I like Jitka a loootttt, but I think she needs to improve a lot to beat Iris & Yaxeni...

I agree up to a point, Xander. The winning bodies sould be 'fully' developed, but that should mean each muscle in relation to another, not necessarily a general increase in mass. Juliette Bergmann had great development, with no glaring weaknesses in any body part, but her overall package would be vastly different in effect to an Iris or Yax.

The men's side of the sport has exactly the same dilemma. As Dorian and Ronnie have come to represent the epitome of male muscularity, the hardcore audience has stayed with it, but the wider audience has dropped. And it all, at the end of day for both the men and women, comes down to the judging and a philosphical decision about what represents the ideal. If an athlete is there, with all body parts in balance, who should win - the most muscular or the most aesthetic?

Personally, I though they were on the right track in 2001, with Juliette winning the O and Joanna T winning the Jan Tana. That flow and line - muscular and very feminine - that their physiques had, for me represented the ideal. It's not a beauty pageant, but it should be guided by aesthetics. Otherwise automatically biggest becomes best.

There's also a judging schizophrenia going on, whereby aesthetic physiques are winning in the NPC and getting pro cards and then the larger, thicker physiques are topping the pro shows. The women coming through then have a choice. Stick with the smaller, more streamlined physique they've developed and finish middle to last, or pack on muscle to be competitive.

Same question for the women, ESPECIALLY for women. After all, isn't this the goal most of you gals are shooting for?

Don't even try to say she would be (insert FBB's name here), no, I mean how would she look like?

Iris and Marja both have the muscle density and fullness that would make them deserving Ms. Os. Yaxeni has seemed just a touch softer to me - which might be to the judges liking and if so would make her a deserving Ms O (though I personally would not place her as high as Iris if they both came in sharp). But I gotta say that the way Jitka looked at the Ms I makes her my personal favorite - beautiful shape, symmetry, fullness, hardness, balance all in a very sexy package. Mmmmmm, Jitka...

O.K., CBDetroit. I suspect that you are going to prove me wrong, but I am going to take a crack at it anyway. You left out the name of a lady who had all the tools necessary to be Ms. Olympia, but left the sport prematurely. In fact, it is highly probable that she could have been one of the most popular Ms. Olympia title holders ever.

Who am I talking about and who did you not include in your All-Star roster? Answer:......(drum-roll)....... Denise Rutkowski.
