yes, she is a great model! I just got an e-mail from her and will ask her if she wants to post a little about herself in this thread. Kind of a 'quick and easy' profile ;)

If Bridgette can look that good without smiling while just sitting on a step outside, well...can you imagine how good she looks when she stands up? The possibility of further beauty is mind-numbing:)

Hey everyone-
I was told it would be a good idea to tell you all a bit about myself. Training for Jr. Nationals for fitness and looking forward to competing next weekend. Been doing fitness off and on for last 5 yrs or so and truly have and addiction for it. I am 5'4" and 128lbs. Been a gymnast most of my life; and found fitness to be my next outlet. Thanks for all the nice compliments!

Bridgette -

A fellow ex-gymnast! How cool! :) Great to see it. Did you compete? I was a level 10 gymnast before I got hurt. I'd love to hear about your past in gymnastics.

I did the Jr's (for bbing) you'll love that show. It's really one of the most convenient and well run shows. Good luck, you've got what it takes to go far girl...

amanda-
thanks! I too was a level 10 and then broke my back...ouch! Seems to be the thing that happens to end a gymnasts career...injury! But I life I would not change for one second! Competition is in my blood which is why I found my oulet in fitness competition...all eyes on you for just a few minutes! what shows are you in this year? Best of luck- I'll let you know how the show goes!

Wow Bridgette, how cool about being a 10. I dislocated/fractured my ankle at Gasparilla (not sure if you know this meet, it's in Tampa but is HUGE) in 30 second touch, doing a piked Cuervo on vault... sucked... bc my vault kicked ass! :)

I hear ya about being a fitness person because of it. I am not a huge dancer, plus I love being muscular which pushes me into more bbing. Although I am a big fan of fitness, lots of respect for it but couldn't ever do it at this point. My ankle is to bad and cannot even do a roundoff anymore on hard floor... only on a rod floor or a tumbletrak... totally disappointing. :(

My roommate and I are going to go to the gym(gymnastics)... (she's a level 4 coach), ex-full scholarship athlete that went Univ. of Iowa, we were gymnasts together before she left... we're going try and video some stuff on the rod floor, maybe some beam, tramp, tumbletrak, whatever I can do. I did this last year and after not tumbling for real since I broke my ankle in 97 (when I was 16), I did double backs and double fulls. ha ha ha. It was great!!!!!!!!!! You know the feeling, what a rush. Pure adrenalin to do that stuff again. Man do I miss it. No fitness or bbing show will EVER equal that. You'll know what I mean.

I'm doing the USA on July 30th in Vegas. I'm pretty excited to get back in shape.

What were you doing when you got hurt? Stress fracture or break from a fall? What level vertebrae? Tell me more.... sucks, but I know exactly what you're talking about. :(
