I know this sounds girlie...but hey, I'm a girl! I LOVELOVELOVE Elena's hair. I always do. She always looks sooo polished. a real class act. what an incredible and high quality show. very nice.

Hey Cindy, depends on what they go for between them. Britt's midsection is a bit tighter but from the back, Kristy's legs are ridiculous. Here's a shot from the back:

...except in the context of the Barry Bonds bust, I think they don't want to reward the most hardcore FBBs.

IMO Clare was the best LW, but not called in the first group of 4.
Also Barb Fletcher was called in 2d group.

In MW, the victim was Kate Cooper, awesome development and definition, not in 1st group.
Yasha was incredible, great physique, condition, stage presence - deserves first IMO.
Lindsay's upper body was amazing, legs bigger than last time but rather smooth, I hope they let her pose - she's a super poser.

In LHW, Amy Neal was in 1st callout but but on the side, belonged in top 3.
Elena's condition was not as sharp as usual.
Kristy's abs came in, everything else is fantastic -- I think they will give it to her; I would, but I'm prejudiced. They put her in the center.
Britt looks great too, it is close.

In HWs, Michele Neil was the best physique and condition by a mile, IMO deserves not only 1st HW but overall.
She was in the first callout but kept on the side when the judges moved others around.
I think they will give HWs to Nekole - they put her in the center.

It was a tough class of competitors all around but juding did seem to be inconsistent-some classes got a nod for condition while another class got punished for condition Oh well...judging...but I love Kristy and Britt's look and although i'm biased with Britt since we share the same wonderful coach, I think Kristy will get 1st and Britt 2nd but hey ya never know...I do agree that I think Kate Cooper should have placed much higher the MW judging was not consistent with LH judging nor the HW judging

they put Sheila Bleck in the center at this year's USA's, we thought she had the HWs for sure at that point. But we know that Michele ended up winning the HWs later that evening. Sooo.... as I learned from explanation, being placed in the middle does not always mean victory in the evening show.

And besides, I hope you're wrong cuz I wanna see Michele win it all

OK just put up the shots from prejudging on the contest report page now - we're not usually taking many stage shots moving forward as we've said many times, but since so many of our friends were competing it was hard to resist!

NPC Nationals FigureRX spotlight athlete Beni Lopez ... she made the transition from figure to bodybuilding in only ten weeks and received first call-outs among the lightweights. Way to go Beni!!

Considering the meeting prior to women's prejudging on criteria, and what direction they want FBBing going and looking for now, it seems their picking the symmetrical, presentation as well as overall "appearance" and the more, shall we say "softer" look. At least in the LW and MW, at least that is what sources at the show are saying today. I look for Britt Miller to walk away with the LHW class.
