Hey I'm just now checking out this thread and the "Motor City" fan is pleased with the results!!
With Cindy Lee Johnson and Kelly Dobbins making the final rounds is living proof that Symmetry & Proportion rules within Women's Bodybuilding instead of the "Mass Monsters" that almost ruined the sport a while ago. I don't know anything about the Heavyweight winner, I'm sure she's Good but I'm a Fan of Both Cindy's & Kelly's physiques which are some of the Most Beautiful, Classiest & Sexiest physiques around. These Beautiful Ladies would make Excellent IFBB Pros and in my opinion, Some of the Best & Most Beautiful Women Bodybuilders come from the Western United States.  Both Cindy & Kelly are definitely my Heroes.

I'm curious Gene, would it be alright if we could check out a contest phootage of Vicki Combest, because I would LOVE to see the improvements that she's made to her physique since competing in local contests in Oregon.

Looks like the HW class was the most competitive. They also seem to be rather tall (maybe Elaine's influence?) - I believe Shawna is about 5'10 or 5'11, but she doesn't stand out. Who is the one in the black suit on the far right side (from the audience's perspective)? Cindy just called, she is ecstatic over this win, her first since the 2004 Cal! It was a pleasure to support and sponsor her for this contest, I look forward to seeing her win the USA's in July.

Congrats to Cindy Johnson on her victory! I am very happy for her!
Also was impressed with some of new faces as well as the old ones. Its amazing how Merry Christine keeps going strong, and also being a great suit designer. Was sad to see Karin Kimura give up bodybuilding though, but maybe figure is best for her. Another great edition of the Cup as usual . .

Just wanted to post a thank-you to all the beautiful athletes that travelled all the way to Bellevue from out of state, and the local girls for making this year's Emerald Cup one of the best.
Congrats to Cindy too!  I had the pleasure of competing with both Cindy and Shawna Walker at the 2004 Contra Costa. Both are very sweet ladies and great reps for the sport of female bb'ing! All you gals keep pumpin' and hope to see you at the National level too!

2009 Emerald Cup
Same weekend this year, who's going where? I already had one competition conflict and ended up skipping the Vancouver (USA) Naturals, stayed home to cover a FAME show. Just wasn't up for the long drive last week
