Ummm, Hello....Dayana Cadeau, Canada, Nicole Ball, Canada Yaxeni Oriquen, Venezuela, Betty Viana, Venezuela. So it's not an All American (USA) Affair.

Plus take into consideration that most of the Women that Qualified for the Olympia were selected were the more Symmetrically Aesthetic & Feminine looking FBBs instead of the Mass Monsters that almost ruined the Women's side of the sport.

Now If you want to be technical , you would have said that the Majority of the contestants are US citizens then there's no arguement there; but remember that the Olympia is still an International contest.

Now why there hasn't been a lot of competitors from Europe, Austrailia, Asia, Africa, New Zealand etc... recently, then you tell me.

Plus also on the list are competitiors whose citizenship is that of Canadian, & South American Heritage besides the USA. I'm sure if you're looking for somemore International Flavor, you'll be able to find it within the Fitness & Figure divisions.

Now if there were more International Competitiors competing in the Olympia Qualifers here in the US or if the IFBB were to establish any Olympia Qualifers overseas just Like they have from what I understand, Men's Bodybuilding then probably you'll be able to find more Women Bodybuilders (besides Canada, Mexico & South America) from overseas competing at the Ms. Olympia here in America just Like back in the day.

Now from what I've understand, the last Ms. Olympia that was held overseas was back in the Late 1990's during the Kim Chizvesky era (1997.) The same with the Fitness Olympia that same year.

Now if you or anyone of This websites Foriegn or International posters are interested or passionate about seeing more Beautiful International Women in the Ms. Olympia then I would contact the IFBB to have Ms. Olympia qualifers overseas as well besides here in the United States.

Not always the case. I know of some married couples who are citizens of the US and another country.

i was thinking of both americas, north and south. considering muscle quality, you might be right, cbd. maybe ladies like merle mohr might one day catch with the level, displayed over there (from my european point of view)

Default Iris wins with a male body? Insane.

IMO her back photo will repulse even most people who believe that women should seriously weight-train. I don't get it, she was DQed last year, but rewarded this year although much bigger, just because the injections marks don't show?
Women's bbing can never become mainstream, but if Ms. Kyle now is its examplar, it's reached total freakishness and irrelevancy.

Default I'll Take Debi But No To Iris

Agreed Aficianado, I'll take Heather. I'll take Debi, but I'll say no to Iris.

The sport got less female with Iris Kyle. She's just not female enough kind of like that South African sprinter. We need the ladies to be more feminine. This level of masculinity in womens bodybuilding has driven me away.

I think they have the wrong judges up there or they are just judging the wrong way. They are not taking femininity into account in the judging criteria. That is a mistake.

If the fbb are to big for you why not just go to the fitness contests?
