Myriam was thrilled last night and Stephanie is also excited about making another appearance on the Olympia stage. Here's a quick shot of Olga Guryev whom I just shot - she has amazing shape and should do really well again next year:

The outfit is ok . . but she could have left those teeth somewhere else.

Back from Spain today, these championships were a pleasure in a somehow unreal atmosphere. I met the great Gene and many beautiful athletes and I hope I'll be able to return next year

Thanks for the great pics Gene. I just got home - some observations on the contest:

The IFBB need to go back to having 3 bodybuilding classes. There were just too many competitors in the heavyweights - they barely fitted on stage. Plus, it's much harder for the smaller women to compete in the new heavier lightweight class.

Johanna was robbed: Everyone I spoke to had her placed 1st or 2nd - not 4th.

Jana looked great - but she needs a new routine; been doing the same one for 3 years!

No complaints about the heavyweight and overall winner. Elena looked fantastic.

Good points! Yes three classes is a must - too many girls in both the classes the way it was. And Johanna definitely should have placed higher.

HA HA! That's awesome! I think she should have popped the thirty bucks for slip on teeth instead of the 99 cent Dracula fangs, but good for her for daring something out of the box.
