From what has been said, I'm assuming that the identities of the team won't be known until sometime early next year. For the people that will attend the tapings, it will be after Thanksgiving (Nov. 28 to be exact).

To the fan in me, this kinda bites. But as a college major in business, I understand why they are attempting to keep this in hush mode. Things have to be done a certain way, and if they're not done a certain way, chaos is bound to ensure.

Bottom line, just at long as whoever made it represents the female muscle world proud, regardless of category (FBB, Fitness, Figure), I'll be happy.

I've brought this up elsewhere, but personally I'm hoping they do an hour-long pre-show before the series officially begins. Part of it would show the history of American Gladiators, and the rest of it would focus on how the new team was chosen. You know, have footage from the tryouts all the way to the final selections. And whatever can't be put on the show would go on the NBC website. That would be sweet!

If this turns out good and this goes on DVD, I'll be in line to buy it in a hurry!

I just saw an ad for it last night on NBC, I didn't recognize any of the ladies in it cause it was one of those ads like a Mtv video gives you a brief glimpse of the people in it, but I do know it's hosted by Hulk Hogan and Leila Ali.
No times or date of when it premiers.

I saw the same ad. I'm not CERTAIN, but from the quick glimpse I got, at least one of them seems to be an all-out FBB.

Well, someone was nice enough to post the pics in a ZIP file of the AG commercial on a AG forum...and all four ladies are well-known in the physique world and are more than qualified to bring AG to the next generation.

That's all I'm gonna say about that...except I'd suggest you fasten your seatbelts and buckle up, we're in for a ride come January 6, baby!!!

I saw the commercial for it last night during the Patriots game and though it was quick, I can say for sure all the females are either from figure or fitness

I saw that too. And The tapings start today. Btw I saw Jamie Reed in the commercial albeit briefly. or at least somone who looks like her.
